The air was practically buzzing with excitement (and humidity) at the 2023 MSP Expo in Fort Lauderdale as MSPs, vendors, and customers networked, swapped stories and business cards, and discussed the industry’s bright future.
Things were especially heating up at booth 329. As a platinum sponsor of the event, the GFI team was ecstatic to reach new MSPs and continue our mission to expand our partner network. This casting call extends to all MSPs—whether global, national or regional—looking to work with software that’s just as easy to deploy as it is to manage.
The increasing need for MSPs stems from small to medium businesses simply not wanting to manage their own IT assets—even though the tools themselves remain vital to the success and security of the business. This IT-averse attitude is where MSPs come in, helping companies deploy and manage essential software that helps maintain network security, optimize network capacity, and facilitate communication and collaboration within the organization.
This leaves MSPs with a lot to manage on the backend of things. With multiple interfaces across a myriad of different products and countless login credentials to remember, it’s a surprise MSPs aren’t a little IT-adverse themselves! At GFI, we’ve witnessed the ramifications of not having a unified platform undergirding these things within our own product line. For example, some of our MSPs might understand GFI LanGuard but not GFI KerioControl, and miss opportunities to sell both services together.
With this in mind, imagine the crowd’s excitement (and relief!) when our CEO Eric Vaughn unveiled our newest offering on the big stage: GFI AppManager—a game-changing, cloud-based platform that integrates all of a user’s applications into “a single pane of glass,” or a singular, streamlined platform.
GFI AppManager makes obsolete the problem of managing multiple interfaces and accounts across different products by consolidating them all into one online, cloud-supported environment, viewable through a series of dashboards and requiring only one set of login credentials. This empowers users to operate any GFI products from a single console, and make informed decisions based on a unified view rather than multiple scattered ones. To top things off, GFI AppManager also provides users with real-time insight into how their applications are running, with Health Indicators signaling their status.
But wait—there’s more! GFI AppManager doesn’t just function as a single pane of glass for our products, but for any group of products. Other software vendors or MSPs can introduce any applications to the ecosystem simply by writing an agent with our open SDK. This enables users to manage their entire suite of products from a single interface, broadening their bandwidth to serve more customers than ever before.
For the grand finale, Eric announced RADARTM, an exciting upcoming feature of GFI AppManager. RADARTM stands for Risk, Anomaly Detection, Alerts, and Response. It compiles data from all of a user’s applications and leverages AI to spot anomalies, then provides a confidence score to point the user to the biggest potential threats, security or otherwise.
Following the presentation, the team was joined at booth 329 by a bevy of excited MSPs eager to learn more about the company and its new product announcement. GFI was more than prepared with GFI marketers, sales representatives, and technicians from all over the world standing by to answer questions and provide a full view of GFI AppManager and its potential.
To close the event with a bang, GFI was proud to sponsor an “Appy hour” on the show floor featuring a mixologist serving up mojitos, two Yeti giveaways, and the chance to be among the first to experience what GFI AppManager has to offer.
Though the tan lines and expo excitement have faded, GFI is still fired up about connecting with new MSPs, expanding our network, and introducing GFI AppManager to the world. If you’re an MSP struggling to juggle applications in disparate interfaces or stumped trying to remember yet another password, then GFI AppManager is the perfect fit for you.
